It is known that most pumps that pump water from natural sources are subject to the destructive effect of mechanical inclusions. This leads to abrasion of the casings and impellers of the pumps themselves, sometimes to jamming of the drive and combustion of the engine, the ingress of dirt under the check valve plates leads to overloading of self-priming pumps and, as a result, their breakdown. In addition, the pump, together with the water, pumps sand, silt, any other dirt in the water. This dirt clogs pipes and expensive filters, settles in storage tanks, disables the water supply system.

Since 1998, our company has been developing, producing and selling filters to protect any household pumps from mechanical damage. The idea is that a filter is installed on the pump itself or on the non-return valve to prevent mechanical impurities larger than 100 - 150 microns from entering the system on top of the usual receiving mesh, and where there is none. The large filter area provides a low filtration rate of water, and dirt particles simply accumulate around the filter before the pump is turned off. Filters have high mechanical strength and elasticity and, in addition to water purification, provide protection of the pump housing from mechanical damage.
