PURPOSE

DESCRIPTION ● The device for cutting gaskets is installed on the table of vertical drilling machine model 2C132 and similar machines. ● The gasket cutter consists of: - a body installed in the machine spindle using a Morse taper; - guides with replaceable knives for cutting gaskets; - a table for placing the workpiece. ● The body together with guides and knives is lowered by the machine mechanism onto the workpiece placed on the table of the fixture. In this case, the workpiece is fixed with a spring - loaded heel on the device table. ● Adjustment of the knives to the required size of the cut out spacer is carried out using the rulers fixed on the guides. ● Cutting of the spacer occurs due to the transfer of rotation from the machine spindle to the device with knives. ● The advantages of the device are its simplicity of design, ease of installation and reliability in operation.
