These are the structures which are in great demand in the industry. They are suitable for drawing for a surface in all known ways of powder technology, have a wide interval of temperatures and time of hardening (100-200 degrees; 40-3 min.).
The main directions of use of epoxy materials - protection against corrosion and electrical insulation. Coverings differ in high adhesion, mechanical durability and chemical firmness. They are moisture resistant (water absorption at the 80th a hail. for 24 h makes 2-8), are resistant to alkalis, lubricant oils, liquid fuel, crude oil. Properties of coverings, however, depend on paint type, and first of all - on the applied hardener. As hardeners serve amines, amides, salts of amidin and anhydrides of acids. Epoxy coverings well protect products from corrosion in water, the soil and the atmosphere of various climatic zones.
In the conditions of the open atmosphere at influence of UF-of beams deterioration in decorative properties (yellowing, luster loss, a meleniye) is observed, however. Therefore coverings are preferred to be operated in rooms or under a canopy, in the open air they are replaced with other, more weatherproof coverings. Temperature limits of operation of epoxy coverings from-60 to + (130-150) degrees.
