The continuous filtering centrifuge is designed to separate various suspensions into solid and liquid phases and is an irreplaceable, efficient and easy - to - use device.
Filtering centrifuges manufactured by NPF Newton provide a high intensity of moisture separation from the material and are used:
- in the production of simulated fish roe to separate the finished product from the liquid;
- when separating natural fish roe (including capelin roe) from the liquid phase;
- for the separation of fruit and berry and vegetable purees into a solid phase, which is then used for the preparation of pastes, jams, marmalades, etc. and a liquid phase - juice with pulp, which, if necessary, can be clarified using gravitational fast settling tanks.
The centrifuge productivity ranges from 1.5 to 6 t / h, which is determined by the initial composition of the raw material, the speed of the sediment movement, the thickness of the sediment layer, and the geometric dimensions of the filter drum.
The main working body of the filtering centrifuge is a steel perforated conical rotor (drum) rotating at a high angular speed. A filtering partition is fixed on the rotor - a mesh or fabric, on which the solid phase is deposited due to centrifugal force, and the centrifuge - the liquid phase, passing through the sediment and the filtering partition, is removed from the centrifuge.
The design of the centrifuge provides for the possibility of stepless regulation of the rotor speed using a frequency converter.
Centrifuges are produced in vertical and horizontal design.
