Kerosene CU-1 (State standard specification 10227-86) is received from srednedistillyatny fraction of oil by direct distillation of oil, or in mix with the hydrocleared or demerkaptanizirovanny component. To requirements of the standard for composition of the general or merkaptanovy sulfur apply either hydrotreating, or a demerkaptanization to reduction of fuel.
Main operational characteristics (kerosene CU-1): a good evaporability for ensuring completeness of combustion; high completeness and heat of combustion for flying range definition; good pumpability and low-temperature properties for giving in the combustion chamber; low tendency to formation of deposits; good compatibility with materials both antiwear and antistatic properties.
Scope: kerosene CU-1 is intended for use on planes of subsonic aircraft.
