1. General information

Explosion - proof magnetic hermetic position sensors DPM - 1Ex are designed to control the position of moving individual structures and mechanisms made of magnetic and non - magnetic conductive materials during various technological processes in explosive zones. Structurally, position sensors consist of two components: a magnetically controlled sensor (reed switch unit) and a setting element (magnet unit). The sensors are marked with explosion protection 0Ex ia IIC T6 Ga X / PO Ex ia I Ma X in accordance with GOST 31610.0 - 2014 (IEC60079 - 0: 2011).


The sensors can be used in underground workings of mines, mines and their surface structures, hazardous with firedamp, as well as in other explosive zones in accordance with the established explosion protection marking.

 

The sensors are designed for operation at ambient temperatures from minus 50 to plus 50C and at relative air humidity up to 93% at 40C. In terms of the method of protecting a person from electric shock, the position sensor corresponds to class "III" in accordance with GOST IEC 60335 - 1. Sheath protection degree - IP68 in accordance with GOST 14254 - 2015. The “X” symbol following the explosion protection marking of the position transmitters means that the sensors are manufactured with a permanently connected cable. An "X" indicates the need for a suitable connection of the free end of the cable.

3. Operation and Explosion Proof

3.1. When the magnet unit approaches the reed switch unit, the reed switch contacts switch, at the moment when the field strength created by the permanent magnet becomes equal to the reed switch actuation field strength.

3.2. The explosion protection of position transmitters is ensured by the following means:

3.2.1. The position sensors do not contain electrical components capable of storing energy hazardous to ignite Category I and IIC gases . .

3.2.2. Electric clearances, creepage distances and dielectric strength of insulation meet the requirements of GOST 31610.0 - 2014 (IEC60079 - 0: 2011).

3.2.3. The construction of position sensors is made taking into account the general requirements of GOST 31610.0 - 2014 (IEC60079 - 0: 2011) for electrical equipment located in hazardous areas. Seals and joints of the body structure elements ensure the degree of protection not lower than IP68 in accordance with GOST 14254 - 2015 (IEC60529: 2013).

3.2.4. The electrostatic intrinsic safety of the position transmitter housing is ensured by the choice of materials of construction.

3.2.5. The maximum heating temperature of the surface of the housing of the position sensors does not exceed the permissible values for the temperature class T6 in accordance with GOST 31610.0 - 2014 (IEC60079 - 0: 2011).

3.2.6. On the housings of the position sensors there are the necessary warning notices, explosion protection markings, intrinsically safe parameters of electrical circuits and the "X" sign.

3.3. To ensure the intrinsic safety of the circuit, the manufacturer recommends connecting the sensors through an ISSH ATFE.426439.001TU barrier ([Exia] IIC / IIB marking), which meets the requirements of GOST 30852.0 - 2002 (IEC 60079 - 0: 1998). To connect sensors to a loop, the manufacturer recommends using a USB - Ex "SEVER" ATFE.685552.001TU connecting device (marking 0ExiaIICT6) , which meets the requirements of GOST 30852.0 - 2002 (IEC 60079 - 0: 1998).

4. Terms of use

4.1. Position sensors belong to explosion - proof electrical equipment of groups I and II in accordance with GOST 31610.0 - 2014 (IEC60079 - 0: 2011) and are intended for use in hazardous areas in accordance with the established explosion protection marking, requirements of TR CU 012/2011, GOST IEC 60079 - 14: 2011 , other regulatory documents regulating the use of electrical equipment in explosive environments, including in underground workings of mines, mines and their surface structures, hazardous for firedamp.

4.2. Possible explosive areas of application, categories of explosive mixtures of gases and vapors with air in accordance with GOST IEC60079 - 10 - 1 - 2011, GOST R IEC 60079 - 20 - 1: 2011 and other documents.

4.3. Installation, operation and maintenance of position sensors must be carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST IEC 60079 - 17: 2011.

5. Completeness

6. Manufacturer's Warranties
