Microphones with internal polarization (prepolyarizovanny microphones)
On the condenser almost constant charge is supported. At change of capacity of the condenser this charge changes poorly, and the heard frequencies remain almost invariable. Microphones with internal polarization do not demand the power supply for creation of tension of shift.
Microphones with polarization 200B
The charge on the microphone is not supported. Instead tension of shift of 200 Century is put to its facings. Microphones of this type demand existence of a source of tension of shift of 200 Century. They are not intended for work in the conditions of high humidity. Their storage in the packing excluding influence is supposed
waters. However microphones of this type are stabler, and their range of working temperatures reaches 150 °C.
Measuring microphones can be divided into three groups: microphones of a free field, field of pressure and casual influence. Distinctions in results of test of microphones of these three types will be made by less than 0,3 dB at frequencies below 5000 Hz and more than 10 dB if frequency exceeds value of 16000 Hz. Thus, the choice of the microphone depends on the required accuracy of results of measurement.
Microphones of a free field (MP201, MP231, MP215, MP216, MP401, MP411, MP418, MK101, MK201, MK401, MK411)
Microphones can influence the sound field in which they are located. Microphones of a free field have the design allowing to compensate the influence on it. Thus, such microphone allows to measure the sound pressure as though the microphone was absent in the sound field. The microphone of a free field is used out of the room, in anechoic chambers or in chambers with reflections.
Microphones of the field of pressure (MP251, MP253, MP451, MP471, MK253, MK451)
Microphones of the field of pressure allow to measure the sound pressure which is present at a microphone diaphragm. They can be used in communication devices with surrounding space, for example, in the simulator of an ear or for measurement of sound pressure upon surfaces.
Microphones of casual influence (diffusion field) (MP281)
Requirements to microphones of casual influence are imposed only by the ANSI standard. Such microphones are necessary for performance of the measurements conforming to the ANSI standards.
