The plate of PAROC FAS 3 is a nonflammable stone cotton wool which is used as a basic insulating layer both in easy plaster systems, and in plaster systems with a thick plaster layer in the course of reconstruction old and constructions of new buildings. The heat-insulating plate for a plaster facade possesses excellent heat-insulating and alkaliproof characteristics. It does not accumulate moisture and does not lose the properties at change of temperature. By means of a heat-insulating plate you will easily create a smooth basic layer for an easy plaster facade or a plaster facade with a thick plaster layer if the bearing wall has an uneven surface. At the same time you improve sound insulation and fire protection of external walls. Plates fasten mechanically on flexible or rigid communications depending on the chosen system of warming (in compliance with requirements of producers of front system) the marked party to the main bearing wall. As a rule, the plate is used in easy plaster systems without restriction on number of storeys of buildings.

The maximum working temperature for products from basalt cotton wool without covering should not exceed 750 oC. Binding begins to evaporate at a temperature over 200 oC. Insulating characteristics I remain invariable, but durability on compression weakens. Materials on the basis of basalt fiber have agglomeration temperature higher than 1000 oC (in a sootvetvetstviye with DIN 4102).
