Propylene is used for receiving glycerin, an akrolein, acrylonitrile, acrylic alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, acetone, phenol, polypropylene, an oxide of polypropylene, a nitrile, acrylic acid, an izopropilbenzol and other organic products. Interaction of propylene with formaldehyde leads to butadiene, condensation with isobutane - to 2, a 2,3-trimetilbutana, or a triptana.
Polymerization of propylene receive polypropylene. Products of sintez on the basis of propylene are widely used for production of plastic, rubbers, detergents, components of motor fuels, solvents, etc.
