1.1. Remote start device UDP 535 - 50 "SEVER" with explosion protection marking 0Ex ia IIC T6 Ga X (hereinafter referred to as the device) is intended for starting fire automation systems, smoke removal systems, generating alarms or signals to unblock emergency outputs when the magnetic contact drive element is turned on.
1.2. The device belongs to explosion - proof electrical equipment. Application area explosive areas of premises and outdoor installations according to explosion protection marking 0Ex ia IIC T6 Ga X according to GOST 31610.0 - 2014 (IEC 60079 - 0: 2011). The device is intended for operation in the loops of control and monitoring devices with certified safety barriers with outgoing intrinsically safe circuits "i".
1.3. The device complies with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union TR CU 012/2011, GOST 31610.0 - 2014 (IEC 60079 - 0: 2011), GOST 31610.11 - 2014 (IEC 60079 - 11: 2011), NPB 70 - 98, NPB 58 - 97, GOST R 53325 - 2012 and PASHK.425211.127TU.
1.4. The remote start device UDP 535 - 50 "SEVER" is equipped with a dry changeover contact of a reed switch * with an output to a separate terminal block XS2.
1.5. The device is produced with indication of modes (duty, start) and without indication.
2. Description of device operation
2.1. The device is activated by displacing the protective element and lowering the actuating element (handle) of the detector down in the direction of the arrows. In no more than 4 seconds, the device will switch to the startup mode with a constant red indicator LED lighting up and transmit a signal to the control panel.
To return to standby mode (the LED is blinking), it is necessary to return the actuator to its original position (by unscrewing / loosening the fixing screw using the special tool included in the kit) and reset the alarm signal on the control panel.
2.2. When the device enters the start mode, its current consumption from the control panel loop increases, where the start signal is recorded, accompanied by sound, light or symbolic indications, depending on the type of control panel used.
2.3. The device is powered from the intrinsically safe control panel loop connected to the XS1 terminal block without observing polarity.
2.4. Structurally, the device consists of a plastic case, all parts of which are made of antistatic plastic with a surface resistance of no more than 10 9 Ohm / cm 2 at a temperature (23 ± 2) ° С and relative humidity (50 ± 5)% in accordance with GOST 31610.0 - 2014 (IEC 60079 - 0: 2011). The base with the electronic unit is fixed on the wall of the room. Then the faceplate with the drive element is screwed to the base. At the request of the customer, the device case can be equipped with sealed plastic cable glands for supplying conductors with a diameter of 6 to 14 mm or from 11 to 18 mm, sealed MKV glands (see table 1) made of stainless steel 12X18H10T, designed for various cable routing options, 2 pcs. The design elements of the detector are shown in Fig. 1. The overall dimensions of the device are shown in Fig. 3.
2.5. The device is designed for continuous operation around the clock.

4. Requirements for completeness

5. Installation of the device
5.1. Disconnect the drive bezel from the base of the device by removing four screws.
5.2. Place the base in the place where the device will be installed and mark and prepare the three mounting holes. Fasten the base of the unit to the wall with three screws.
5.3. Connect the loop wires through the sealed cable glands to the terminals on the device board according to the diagram shown in Fig. 2
5.4. Install the front panel with the drive element of the device on the base using four screws (while the drive element must be in the uppermost position, on the latches).
5.5. Check the functionality of the device together with the control panel.
5.6. After checking the operation of the device, it is necessary to return the drive element to its original position (by unscrewing / loosening the fixing screw using the special tool included in the kit) and reset the alarm signal to the control panel.
Fig. 2. Diagram of connecting the device to the loop * With a constant voltage in the loop, the polarity in the loop is not required. If there is an alternating voltage in the loop, the device is connected using a semiconductor diode connected in the required direction.
6.1 Maintenance of the devices consists in periodically checking the reliability of the connection of the loop wires by tightening the terminal screws with a screwdriver.
6.2. Periodic functional check of the device is carried out by lowering the drive element at least once every six months.
