Rotary lock of a series ML, for combustion (exhaust) gases
Interflange rotary lock of production of the Orbinox company for the systems transporting combustion (exhaust) gases. Standard modification is developed for application on systems with working pressure up to 500 millibars, with the recommended speed of stream of 30 m/s and with the working temperature up to 800 °C.
It is rather tight lock with extent of blocking of pass between 90% and 99% which can reach 100% at locks with system of air consolidation (see ML2).
The lock is developed in such a way that standardly the disk axis always is in horizontal position, but production of a lock with vertically located axis is to order possible.
Standard rotary lock for combustion gases (ML)
The bilateral lock, carries out function of control of a stream of the combustion gases circulating in the pipeline. The design of a shiberny lock includes the disk rotating on two half shafts.
Usually the lock is delivered assembled, except for the big diameters demanding special transport by delivery.
The case is the mechanically welded design which can be made of various materials. Standardly delivered design includes diameters from 150 mm to 2000 mm. Locks of big diameters can be to order made.
The disk is flat, with stiffening ribs, it is fixed on two half shafts. Despite a flat surface adequately maintains the declared working pressure, without having considerable losses.
These locks have two systems of sealing. Depending on application, a version following: Saddle consolidation with a gap (overlapping for 90-97%) for Wednesdays with dust inclusions (less than 1000 mg / Nm3); and saddle consolidation metal on metal (overlapping for 99%), suitable for other environments demanding the high level of tightness.
Support of a lock are located on outer side of the case, separately from consolidation on the case. It allows to keep support at distance from sources of high temperature and corrosion, increasing service life. This system also allows to make replacement of consolidation on the case without dismantle of support that simplifies future service of a lock.
On the case of a lock external insulators, long 200 mm are established. When replacing consolidation on the case or support to dismantle an insulator there is no need.
Rotary lock for combustion gases with system of air consolidation (ML2)
The rotary lock with system of air consolidation includes two disks. Consolidation is formed in space between two disks, thanks to forcing of air under big pressure there, than at the combustion gases circulating in the pipeline. Thus the chamber with a high pressure guaranteeing tightness of a lock is created. This system can be applied on pipelines with working pressure no more than 250 millibars.
Types of management: pneumatic actuator "opening/closing" and adjustment, electric drive. The system of air consolidation consists of the electric fan, the valve of consolidation and the compensator of expansions. Other characteristics are identical to the rotary lock which does not have system of air consolidation.
