The actual curing time will depend on the initial temperature of the mating parts, as well as on the time it takes for the adhesive and mating parts to reach the  specified temperature (depending on the size of the parts, their number, the size of the oven, its power, etc. ).  

Surface preparation 

The surfaces must be cleaned, dried and degreased before applying the adhesive with  any  cleaner suitable for the parts to be bonded . M Ferrous materials, having a surface oxide film, must also be machined to remove it (recommended shortly before applying the adhesive).    


Bonding of surfaces The adhesive should be applied through a dispenser with a suitable diameter. The composition should be applied  in the  required amount to cover the entire surface of the parts to be glued, taking into account its subsequent spreading when heated. It is enough to apply the glue to one of the surfaces, while it is necessary to avoid the formation of air bubbles in it. When the mating of the parts they need to be sufficiently strong compression to the adhesive is evenly distributed over all  glue th  surfaces wells .  

The parts to be joined must be compressed with each other during and  during the entire polymerization of the composition.  

The displacement of parts relative to each other from the moment the glue begins to reject and until the moment they are glued can lead to a deterioration in the strength characteristics of the finished unit.  

In order to avoid displacement of parts during the polymerization of the glue, it is recommended to use mechanical means of  fastening the parts, such as clamps, clamps, etc. It is recommended to ensure the immobility of the connection unit until the glue has completely hardened.  

When gluing parts with minimal gaps, including when  one  part is  in the body of another ( for example,  ferrite in a blind groove in the stator of an electric motor), it is enough to apply glue from above along the  line and  seam between the parts and start  heating  them . When the parts are heated, the glue, due to a decrease in its viscosity and capillary tension, will independently penetrate into the existing gap between the parts, and after polymerization will ensure the fastening of the  parts.
