Hempel paint is made and delivered in such a way that its dilution is usually not necessary, provided that the paint is properly mixed / sided. However, if the paint should be applied with a thin film (for example, as a "sealing layer") or it became too thick (for example, because of cold weather), then Hempel's Thinners diluents referred to in the product description can be added to the paint for more suitable for applying a consistency. As a rule, the dilution should be minimal, since the surplus of the diluent affects the quality of painting works. However, if the application should be carried out at high temperatures (air and / or steel), the dilution, even despite all the limitations specified in the technological maps, can be extremely necessary in order to avoid dry spray and form a poor-quality film. Hempel's Thinners diluents are mixed in such a way as to provide the best results when working with a brush, by spraying, etc. In some cases, in place of Hempel diluents, conventional solvents can be used. We do not take any responsibility for the use of these products, as they are outside our control. In any case, it is necessary to adhere to the appropriate technological map of the product, as well as instructions for applying, if any. With regard to the use of diluents for flushing equipment, see notes below.
