Staples for polypropylene and polyester tape

The buckle, staples and clip for the strapping tape, in principle, have one task - fastening the ends of the tape, after tensioning and fixing. The buckle for the tape serves to secure the ends of the tape, on the packaged goods, in the process of strapping. When fastening with a buckle, the ribbon in the form of loops is inserted into the buckle and with the help of a tensioner, the buckles pass the packing tape through themselves and are tightened on the load, after which the remaining tape is cut off.

Buckles are divided into two types:

1. metal wire - made of black (uncoated) or galvanized wire;
2. plastic - made of polypropylene and polyamide.

Staples for tape also serve to secure the ends of the tape during packaging, but only with other tools. When working with brackets for plastic tape, you will need a combination link device or tensioner and pliers. When working with closed brackets for steel tape, you will need tools for steel tape. Staples are only steel black (uncoated) and galvanized. They are made of sheet metal of different thicknesses.

Staples are made of two types:

• open - for plastic tape;
• closed - for steel linen.
