AL - 35T torch thermal power is 120 - 440 kW. Compressed air with pressure not less than 3 bars, an expense of 250 l/min is necessary for work of a torch.
Type of fuel: diesel fuel, kerosene, oven fuel, the fulfilled oils.
We let out torches with power over 105 kW only in two - level execution. The torch is lit on small burning about 30 - 50% of rated power, then automatically leaves at full capacity. At a temperature of boiler water close to set - again automatically passes to small burning. At achievement of the set temperature - it is disconnected.
This algorithm of work is extremely important at combustion of the fulfilled oils. The fulfilled oils have unpredictable structure: caloric content, availability of water, antifreeze, and other impurity. Therefore on one - stage torches with a thermal power over 100 kW, at deterioration of fuel there is a failure of a flame, especially at start.
The torch is not capable to be kindled when in the furnace camera of the heatgenerating unit more amount of fuel and air for burning at the same time moves. An exit from this situation for a one - stage torch one – to reduce supply of fuel and air, and to respectively underestimate thermal power. As a result the one - stage torch at poor quality of the fulfilled oil and powers over 120 - 350 kW is often capable to work only for 50 - 60% of the declared power.
Other picture is observed during the work of a two - level torch. The first step provides ignition on small fuel consumption, the second (big burning) is lit in a flame of the first step that provides stable ignition and the guaranteed exit to the declared thermal power even at poor quality of the fulfilled oil.
